What devices are supported by QuietCam?

QuietCam is designed exclusively for iPhone and requires iOS 17.0 or later. The app is optimized for the iPhone's camera hardware and takes advantage of features available in recent iOS versions, including advanced camera APIs, Action Button integration, and modern privacy controls. If your iPhone runs iOS 17 or newer, you can download QuietCam from the App Store and use all free-tier features immediately.

QuietCam supports the full range of iPhone camera hardware available on compatible models. This includes front-facing and rear-facing cameras, as well as multiple lens options on supported devices: ultra wide, wide, and telephoto. Video resolution and frame rate settings adapt to your specific iPhone's capabilities, with PRO subscribers able to record at up to 4K 60fps on devices that support those specifications.

The iPhone Action Button is supported on iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPhone 16 series models running QuietCam version 1.2 or later. If your iPhone does not have a physical Action Button, all other QuietCam features work normally — you simply use tap-to-capture and on-screen controls instead of the hardware button.

QuietCam is not available for iPad, Mac, or Apple Watch at this time. The app is built specifically for the iPhone form factor and its camera system. While you can AirDrop or share recordings to other Apple devices after capture, the recording itself must be initiated from an iPhone.

The app is lightweight at approximately 22.6 MB and supports eight languages: English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish. It carries a 4+ age rating on the App Store, making it accessible to users of all ages who need a discreet, privacy-focused camera tool.
