How do I cancel my QuietCam PRO subscription?

QuietCam PRO subscriptions are managed entirely through Apple's App Store, not through QuietCam directly. This means cancellation, renewal, and billing are handled by Apple using the same subscription system that manages all other iOS app subscriptions. You can cancel at any time without contacting QuietCam support.

To cancel, open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name at the top to access Apple ID settings, then tap Subscriptions. Find QuietCam PRO in the list of active subscriptions and tap it. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm your choice. If you do not see a Cancel button, the subscription may already be set to expire at the end of the current period.

After canceling, you retain full access to PRO features — including 4K 60fps video, stereo audio recording, and burst mode — until the end of the billing cycle you have already paid for. If you are on a monthly plan, that means you keep PRO until the month ends. On a yearly plan, you keep PRO for the remainder of the year. Once the period expires, your account reverts to the free tier automatically. You do not lose any recordings; all media in your private gallery remains accessible.

Canceling PRO does not delete the QuietCam app or any of your saved recordings. Free-tier features continue to work as before, including photo capture, basic video recording, black screen modes, and the private gallery. If you decide to resubscribe later, you can do so from within the app or through the App Store at any time.

If you encounter issues canceling — such as the subscription not appearing in your list — ensure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used to purchase PRO. Family Sharing subscriptions may appear under the family organizer's account. For billing disputes or refund requests, contact Apple Support directly, as QuietCam does not process payments.
